Discover the ancestral secrets of the Argolis region with a 2-day tour of Mycenae, Epidaurus and Nafplion.
Prepare yourselves for a two day adventure around the historic region of Argolis! In Mycenae, you will visit one of the major centers of Greek civilization, with monuments like the Lion Gate and King Agamemnon's Tomb still standing today. Your night will be spent exploring Nafplion, a charming town full of romantic settings and picturesque scenery. Before returning to Athens the following morning, you will visit the ancient theater of Epidaurus, marvel of architecture dedicated to the arts. The famous 4th century amphitheater is known for its incredible acoustics.

- Day 1 - Athens to Nafplion via Corinth & Mycenae
We will pick you up from select spots around Athens and drive along the scenic coastal roads of the Saronic Gulf for a short visit to the Corinth Canal, a testament to human ingenuity. After you've grabbed a few pictures we will proceed to the archaeological site of Mycenae. The former military stronghold of Ancient Greece, Mycenae features important landmarks such as the Tomb of King Agamemnon, the Cyclopean Walls and the Lion Gate among others. Afterwards, we will depart for Nafplion, where you will spend the night. Though it served as the first capital of modern Greece, nowadays Nafplion has transformed into a quiet town that due to its seductive allure attracts locals more as well as tourists.

Meals: Dinner - Day 2 - Explore Nafplion and return to Athens
The morning is at your disposal to explore Nafplion and its amalgamation of the Hellenic and Venetian civilizations that have heavily influenced it. Be sure to enjoy a beverage on one of the many waterfront cafes which offer beautiful views of the fortress of Bourtzi. After lunch, we will visit Epidaurus where you will explore the famous 4th century amphitheater known worldwide for its acoustics. In the evening we will return to Athens by the same route.
