Fantasy Travel

1. My credit card is rejected but I am sure it is valid, what can I do?
Our bank secure payment facility has shown a satisfactory degree processing transactions securely.
It may be possible that for your own security, your bank might block a transaction outside your country.
If you notice that the transaction is not going through, please call your bank or cc and inform them that you will be making an overseas payment so that they allow for payment to go through.

 

2. No Reply Received / Booking Confirmation Not Received
We have noticed that from time to time mail may get caught up in the ‘spam folder’, where
it may stay for about six days and then your system may automatically delete our message.
Please first check your ‘spam folder’ and contact
Fantasy Travel at fantasy@fantasy.gr to inform us and give us your telephone number, so that we can reach you if this persists.

 

3. What if I need to Cancel my reservation?

4. What if I need to change the date of my reservation?
We ask that you choose your tour carefully as quite often there are fees applied for changes and different rates may apply for different dates.
Please contact Fantasy Travel at fantasy@fantasy.gr via e-mail, providing your name and booking reference and inform us about the new dates you require.
We cannot guarantee confirmation on the new dates, we will do our best to address your request and reply within 24 hours.

5. What happens if my flight is delayed and I am not on the predefined time to Athens Airport to pick me up?
If you inform us at least 5 hours before your original arrival flight then we monitor your flight's new estimated time of arrival and reschedule your transfer to meet up on the new arrival time without any extra cost. However, if you inform us less than 5 hours you will have to pay for a new transfer.

6. Can I book transfer to other cities or locations other than Athens / Airport and surrounding areas, islands maybe?
If you are already in communication with one of our agents and have a customized itinerary whereby we have pre-arranged your accommodation at any islands in Greece or Turkey, you will find that not only transfers but also boat tickets and many other services can be arranged. In this automated service however, we provide all the tours/excursions which start from Athens and all transfer services in Athens. It is a service primarily for guests who have already made their island hotel reservations on their own and still require Athens transfers and excursions to the treasures of the Greek mainland.   


7. In the multiday tours, what is a single / double / triple room?
Three persons travelling together will share a triple room.
A couple or two persons traveling together will share a Double/Twin room.
A single person (solo traveler) travelling will be accommodated in a Single room.

8. What is a ‘ Single Supplement’?
A single person travelling alone (solo traveler) occupies a Single room whereby an additional surcharge is applied (this is called Single Supplement and it take place only during overnight tours/excursions). If you have indicated that you have are a single traveler when you made the reservation, please note that the supplement and any relevant discount has been automatically applied.

9. Can you pair me up with another single traveler ?
Regrettably there is no such facility in these tours/excursions.

10. How I will recognize your Welcome Service Representative in Athens?
For our transfer service from the Athens airport, after you collect your luggage from the conveyor belt, you will exit the luggage area and there will be our Welcome Service Representative holding a Fantasy Travel sign. She/he will meet and assist you and will be transferred to your designated location.

Upon arrival at any of the Ports which service Athens (Port of Piraeus, Port of Lavrion or Port of Rafina) and after you exit the boat with your luggage you will see our Welcome Service Representative waiting for you holding a Fantasy Travel sign.

For your transfer pick-ups from your Athens Hotels to the Airport or Port, our representative will meet you at the reception area of your hotel holding a Fantasy Travel sign.

11. What is the optimal transfer-pick-up time for a flight or boat out of Athens.
Unless you are flying out on a private aircraft or sailing off on a private boat, we strongly urge that
if your hotel is in the centre of Athens, pick-up from the hotel to the airport should be 3 hours before flight departure for international flights or 2 hour before flight for domestic flights.

For a ferry-boat or high-speed boat, pick-up from the hotel should be 1 hour before boat sails.

12. Are transfers private or semi-private?
Our transfers are usually private, unless different customers depart from the same starting point at the same time. For example, in case you arrive at the Athens Airport with the same flight with our other customers, you will share a transfer with our 12 seater Mercedes Minibus.

13. Languages
All excursions are bilingual, unless otherwise stated.

14. Children and Infants
Infants and children up to 4 years old carried free of charge provided no bed, meal offered or seat in the bus is provided.
Children 4-12 years of age are granted a 50% discount provided they share a room with an adult (parent or legal guardian).
If you have indicated that you have a child 4-12 years of age when you made the reservation, please note that the discount was automatically applied.
Children’s discount is not applicable on the 5-Day and 7-Day Tour/Excursions.

15. Dress code. Is there a dress code for the visit to the monasteries or churches?
Monks reserve the right not to allow entry to a monastery. It is advisable that ladies wear skirts and men wear long trousers.

16. Do I get an emergency phone number which I can call if something goes wrong during my trip (e.g. delayed flight, last minute time change etc)?
After your booking is paid you will receive an emergency phone number.

17. According to which timezone are all the bookings implemented?
All bookings and times shown are according to the Greek Time zone (GMT+2 during winter, GMT+3 during summer).

18. Regarding covid-19 safety measures, what documents do I need to have in order to be able to enter Greek Archaeological Sites?
As of July 2021 and as part of the covid-19 health and safety measures, the Greek authorities have requested that every visitor over 12 years of age must have one of the following documents in order to be able to enter Archaeological Sites:
a. A vaccination certificate issued by a certified authority.
b. A negative antigen (rapid) test result from a laboratory; the test must be taken up to 48 hours before entry.
c. A negative PCR molecular test result from a laboratory; the test must be taken up to 72 hours before entry.
d. A certificate of recovery from the SARS-CoV-2 virus infection issued by a public authority or a certified laboratory. The certificate is issued 30 days after the day of the first positive COVID-19 test and is valid for 180 days after it.
